"I'm not sure why the ratings aren't better! We experienced great food and service, and the restaurant was super clean. The mountains do not usually have decent Mexican food, but Casa Grande is an exception. I was able to order something off of the regular menu and have it vegetarian. FYI, if you have dietary restrictions, they will assist. The waiter informed me that both the black beans and refried beans are vegetarian. However, the rice (made e chicken stock) and pinto (made w pork) are not. Everything was served hot, promptly, and our food was delicious. My husband enjoyed the steak tacos, and I had the chimichanga vegetarian. Both of the salsas were super fresh, one spicy, one mild, and the queso was so good. Thanks guys, great job! One request, please, stop using one ti.e use plastic straws."

"We enjoyed our family breakfast here while visiting the area. Great food, fun atmosphere, attentive staff and entertaining decor. We'll definitely eat back here. It is busy so that you wait a little, but then again you can expect large food in high demand. The buttermilk pancakes are spicy, the cookies were fantastic and even the sausage sword was good. Breakfast Burrito in green chili was the highlight of my breakfast. I'm used to eating some of the best sausages thanks to my wife, and this is the first time I ever complimented a restaurant on her sausage bread. If that says something."

"We attended our first anniversary 25 years ago. I know it is now under new management and the menu is very different. But we had a great time. It was so quiet and intimate. We had the Gambas (the sauce was so good), Topinambur (Haben goat cheese on it), we had a Manhattan and a mule. Both made very good and refreshing. Then we had freshly baked bread with rosemary butter (Yum). With our dinner we had a bottle of wine (which we didn't think we were done, but it was so good) The Lamb Lollipops were delicious and also a vegetable with it. My fillet Mignon was mouth-in-your mouth goodness. Since everything was so high, the drum was pure okay. Service was prompt, but our waiter was new and did not give us all the information we would like. He was not all familiar with the menu or drinks, etc. He always had to ask someone. * He was very nice and the visit was still excellent! Oh, yeah, we had the nerve to order chocolate fondue. Absolutely perfect to finish the meal. It was light, creamy and soothing. We almost ate everything. It was very good and can't wait to go back. Very recommended."
