"Competition among "traditional German restaurants" in Frankfurt is quite tuff, and this restaurant did not win me. The menu is a bit disappointing - not many choices, especially among the 'traditional' options. Quality was good, but nothing impressive. The Apfelwein is quite standard, and at least my impression was that it is not of their own production.Also the ambience was not fully convincing - it maintains some elements typical of German restaurants (like the long table and the unconfy benches) but, hinting at a 'modern' style, it loses that cozy feeling that one would expect."
