"So, after a mistake with another restaurant in the Cinema Paradiso not confirming our online booking, we had a last minute change of plan and ended up here at Sardinia. No choice in menu as it was a set tasting menu with 5 entree , 3 mains and 2 dessert, with a bottle of wine between 4 people for $40/head.The food was tasty, and Vince went to some trouble to present it well, but it really wasnt worth $40. A dip and some croquettes, portion of lasagne, beans, tiramisu and gelato, as well as a couple of sides, could have included some nice fresh pasta and sauce, cheap to make but tasty and filling. We had to ask for water and our wine, the wait staff could do with a refresher course on what their role is. The restaurant wasnt full, so managing the few tables should have been easy. Nice clean table and easy decor. Would like to go on a night when I can choose own food though."
