"Disclaimer Background Story: We are visiting NYC and staying at some friends' place. We'd driven several hours and got in late enough that we didn't feel like leaving the apartment and ordered pizza delivery. Did this online and was charged despite, as we later learned, the pizza place being closed for the holidays. After some 70 min of waiting and coming to the aforementioned conclusion, we decided the safest way to ensure that we dine was to venture into the cool Brooklyn night and see what *is* open. My point is, my excitement at finally eating at ~9pm could be positively affecting this review. Anyhow, Piccante was our savior. The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of what you're getting. Between the four of us, we had a pasta dish, a seafood risotto, a grilled calamari salad and a burger, all ranging from impressive to memorably praise-worthy (risotto was the best imho. Please keep this place in business so our friends and we can continue to enjoy it for years to come."

"Went for brunch! Restaurant was able to accommodate our large group well, food and drinks came out at appropriate time! Server was great and handled a few picky requests superbly! Vibe was v cool, and the drinks were phenomenal. Not sure what made the mimosas so special but they didn't feel phoned in! Great! Check them out"
