"What a cool and quirky little place! Absolutely loved our experience at The Brasserie Kitchen Wine Bar. We had the Fish and Chips and Chicken Burger for lunch! Just simply fantastic!! Best Chicken Burger I’ve had! Definitely give this place a go!"

"Had high expectations based on other 5star reviews. The bread entree was yummy, my husband and I both had the beef fillet mains. Not a lot of flavour and the seasonal veges were on the undercooked side but it was a good dish overall. The dessert for $17 was the tiniest lemon meringue tart with a stale pastry base. It said it came with meringue and lemon ice-cream but instead all it has was a dollop of cream which I can’t eat and wasn’t listed on the menu. I did voice my concerns about food not reflecting/including was was stated in the menu but was brushed off. Wouldn’t return in a hurry. The server was friendly and attentive."

"Such a good place to stop for breakfast if you're Akaroa, and well worth the drive over the hill if you're in Christchurch for the weekend. The food is tasty and fresh, the coffee worth traveling for, and the walk around Akaroa afterwards well worth the time."
