"We have been traveling in France for 3 weeks now and despite spending a lot of time researching for restaurants on trip advisor and other review websites we failed to find a restaurant that blew out minds. On the last day of the trip (its more dramatic this way) we came accords l'azimuth 45 and oh my what a great find. The service was great (rare to find in France), waiter as patient with us and he spoke some English. All 3 courses were fantastic. Dishes were interesting, fun, presentation was beautiful, everything cooked to perfection and tasted very fresh. The 3 course meal for lunch was 20 dollars which is a great value for annecy. Just wanted to leave a suggestion. I know it's not mandatory to tip in France, but we have had situations where we were very happy with our service (like here) and wanted to leave a tip for the waiter, but we rarely have cash with us. It would be helpful if there was an option to tip using credit card. Thanks for a great meal and experience!"

"Very expensive for a really little copyy and tasteless cuisine. Unpleasant boss: no politeness, it seems to be disturbing. Don't count on a romantic dinner: the tables are so glued that you eat with the neighbors. First and last time for us."

"After a week skiing in Tignes, our last night was in Annecy before flying home. We chose Le Chalet Restaurant after walking by and seeing its attractive decorations outside. Not even seeing the menu, we were luckily able to book a table for the evening....We were not disappointed. The wooden alpine feeling when entering see the tone for the gourmet Savoyard that followed. The fixe price menu for euros was a bargain with appetizer, entree dessert. The food was superb and the portions huge. I highly recommend this restaurant."
