"Very good dining experience at Perla’s. The restaurant was crowded, but we were promptly seated on arrival on time for our reservation. We split a wedge salad, which is covered with crab meat delicious. My wife enjoyed the grouper, while my crunchy snapper was delicious. We shared a butterscotch pot du creme for dessert which was fantastic. Only shortcomings were it’s noisy, and the service is a little disjointed with different individuals taking our order, delivering food clearing the table."

"Very good brunch. Had the spinach benedict very well done. GF had the chicken salad, which was excellent We had a problem with an OpenTable gift cert, which was partially my fault for not doing due diligence, but the manager (black hair with beard/mustache didn't catch his name) was really gracious, giving us some coffee and pastries as a bit of compensation. Really appreciated that! (Russell's cinnamon bun/muffin thing is definitely the best around"

"Parking has decent parking in front of the restaurant and has parking opposite the restaurant, drive the ramp. Ambiente 80 90's chic restaurant feel. Let's eat a 5-course menu with wine tasting. The food was good, but I won't say it was amazing. They are known for their duck shell, but the way it was introduced, I could see blood inflammation on the side. They were friendly enough to change duck shell for my partners with Snapper fish that tasted good. The wines were good, but the last 3 tastings were all cherry I felt was too much cherry. Service, when I celebrated my partner's birthday, they called me explicitly to ask her name and gave us a signed menu as a gift. I really appreciate that gesture. Thank you. The server was friendly, but after our 2nd course kept on oblivion. I think a few guests came to celebrate something in the restaurant and they got all the candles on their dessert, but we didn't. Conclusion good food, cozy place, good wine collection, cost for 2 about $375 with lace."

"Tapas were very hit or miss—simple stuff like shishitos, meatballs were on point, but others like arancini overly breaded and dull, shrimp an odd green purée that just didn’t work and steak chewy, more generic beef stew than black truffle flavor didn’t quite gel. Points for atmosphere, solid service and decent wine by the glass at fairly reasonable prices. But need to work on the food"
