"I ordered the cauliflower steak that was absolutely delicious! when I placed my order, I verified that the gremolata was really vegan and sans sardellen. it was so good to be able to order from the menu and not have to get pasta (especially since I exaggerate it on the pasta lately. only one head up, although the pattate frit is labeled as vegan on the menu, they are fried in the same oil as anything else. they can be ready to make it separate, but I didn't ask. this place is in trendy little italy, so there is a good chance that there is a kind of event in the opposite (bonus! . great place for a date."

"Outstanding. As always. Brought the team for dinner again, this time late December as our End of Year celebration. Food was excellent, service was impeccable as always. Wine quality and choice exceptional. Thank you, Tony, for greeting us and selecting those extra special bottles! Every member of our party had a wonderful experience. Quality. "We booked this reservation based on the fact a friend of mine is gluten intolerant. We called weeks in advanced to be instructed what was appropriate to have based on her dietary restrictions- all was a go. We arrived to our reservation and selected to sit outside. A gentleman (his name he didnât disclose) proceeded to take our bottle of Prosecco without offering glasses (this is BYOB). We were given attitude while we were confused and asked why someone would open a bottle of Prosecco without glassware, but let it go. When came time to our food order, our friend with the gluten intolerance was told by our Twist server, they only had gluten free pancakes and waffles, nothing else on the menu due to lack of delivery for that day. Rather upset because we called in advanced and spoke to someone regarding options, we were rather confused. This is a gluten free establishment, so to only have gluten free pancakes and waffles seemed odd based on prior conversation. I asked to speak to the manager. Our server said â youâre speaking to himâ. I asked to further explain the mishaps and he declined to provide a response to allow my dining guest the comfort of selecting options that would prevent her from getting extremely sick. I called for the hostess to bring me the manager. She told me she was the manager(Brie). She informed me the pancakes and waffles are NOT gluten free and in fact they still had alot or other GF options. Ummâ¦this could have caused great discomfort to my friend! At this point we stopped trusting this establishment. Food allergies and intolerances are a big deal and to not be taken seriously is an issue. I made reservations elsewhere while sitting at the table, while our server/manager got our bill. We received the bill and he charged us a fee for âjuice carafeâ even though we supplied our own OJ for BYOB in a bottle they donât sell on site). When confronted, he said he didnât know. Proceed with caution!! Please call about issue!!"

"This place ... what a treat! We were in town for a convention and a colleague found Sammy's, and we're so glad she did! The most wonderful older woman, Valerie I believe, was running the whole place, serving food, making drinks, and all with such a wonderful demeanor, she's amazing! The food was delicious, the vibe was family style fun, I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Baltimore!!"

"I enjoyed the appearance and feeling of the restaurant and the server was friendly and capable. The white pizza wasn't crispy as she said it was. It was actually the opposite. It was delicious, but so soft I had to use a fork and knife to eat it. I'm sure many people would enjoy this style, but that's not for me."

"I've had dinner about 7 times at Sammy's, and always had a great experience. The last one, though, wasn't so good. A few menu items ordered weren't delivered, I had to ask about them. We were there about 90 minutes, one person in our party who ordered a pizza waited 85 minutes to get it! About 65 minutes in, we were told there was a problem with the pizza. Then, this was bizarre, about 75 minutes in we were told that some pizzas take a long time to make. A pizza over an hour to cook in a restaurant??? One person ordered dinner and asked for no cheese. It was delivered with cheese and had to be remade. However, the food we did get was delicious. It was extremely noisy that night, too. Service was sketchy. The food delivery really destroyed their normally great rating. I'll go back again just because I think they had an off night at least, I hope that's all it was."
