"My husband and I visited Jubans Restaurant Bar for lunch on a Wednesday for the first time. It's located in a Strip-Mall but you will be taken aback by the decor and atmosphere once you enter the establishment. We ate at the Lunch Room's bar being we had no reservations, and yea you probably need a reservation even during lunch. The entire bar is decorated by themes. The night bar and dinner room is decorated with dark rich plush velvets, chandeliers and gold trims throughout. Very Gatsby like but is not open during the lunch hours. The lunch room was a bit different . Very well lit, Pinks and Blues sprayed throughout as if you are at a Garden Baby Shower. The guest are the who's who's or who's who want to bees. The food was beyond amazing. They offer a boudin dip, and is hands down the best appetizer on any coast. The staff are respectful and professional. Jubans doesn't make so much on the food as they do the liquor. You will pay $21 dollars for one glass of wine that you would normally pay $40 for the whole bottle. Their demographics don't seem to mind. As far as attire, dress well for lunch and dinner. You'll see high end designer bags on every table with heels and appropriate coverage with high fashion designer pieces. I was the only one in the entire restaurant with my hair up and in flats. They are under new management from an outside company that seems to be doing well with the re-decor and vibe as well as food. For layman's terms: It's Fancy."

"One of the best dining experiences since moving to BR from downtown NOLA. Spot on service. Terrific food that was properly prepared and served with a nice presentation. The craft cocktails were well made. Like all other good restaurants these days, the pricing was a little more for the experience. I’d rather pay a little more for the value and portions we received. No doubt this has been added to our restaurant rotation."

"Cozy is a great word to describe. There was live entertainment when I dined Friday evening. I sat at the bar and it was not too busy as I expected. Sabrina and some of the other staff were extremely helpful and comedic. Good laughter, wonderful service, delicious drinks, decent food, nice vibe."

"My daughter chose Stroubes for her 24th birthday dinner with the family We had a party of 10. The food and service were excellent! Most of us got the redfish and some got the ribeye with side of crawfish macaroni. Everyone raved about their dish. Oh, and another rave for the great bread that is served before the meal. Then waiter brought out awesome bread pudding for birthday girl and even found a candle to put in it so that we could sing Happy Birthday and take picture. Thanks for making it a wonderful experience for her (and us too)! We will be back!"
