"This is a very small restaurant with a limited menu, but what they deliver very good food. The restaurant seats about 28 in a very tight space. Over half the seating is on the sidewalk. Very nice view of the river and the old picturesque buildings on the other side. I had a seafood risotto with scallops and shrimp that was very tasty. My wife had the burger which was a thick beef patty on a delicious tomato sauce base, covered by a melted lamb cheese and a potato pancake. The meat was delicious and cooked perfectly. Outstanding non traditional type burger. I rated based on a wide variety of restaurants ( Michelin to fast food) and it was a little cramped with a limited wine selection. However, it was a great value and I would certainly recommend. Also can't beat the view."

"We had lunch on the terrace overlooking the river. Lobster salad, pork with foie gras and risotto were all excellent. They have a fairly ambitious menu but really know how to cook! Service was professional and friendly. Would return here anytime."

"Tucked away in Petit Bayonne this Italian ristorante is very small and you could easily miss it. With so few tables it was crowded (on a Friday evening) so book or get there' early. Not a greatly varied menu - too many pizzas for my taste - but OK as long as you have a very flexible taste. Wines expensive."

"Excellent burgers, pasta and goat cheese salad. Very reasonable price too. Had no wine, but the wine list looked to have an excellent selection all through the glass also very cheap. Friendly and attentive service. Best restaurant in Bayonne? I'm not sure, but... it was a good simple meal."
