"We had the pleasure of taking two guests from Italy to Keenan's for lunch recently. We wanted to find a place that showed off Bellingham's beauty and offered PNW seafood. Keenan's fit the bill perfectly. We were greeted warmly and offered either inside or outside seating. Our guests wanted outside so we were seated on the covered porch. Heaters provided just enough heat to make it comfortable on this beautiful spring day We shared a hummus appetizer and then moved on to cream cakes, fish tacos, and seafood chowder. All of the dishes were flavorful and well prepared. The crab cakes had plenty of crab, the chowder was loaded with fish, and the hummus was perfectly seasoned and tasty. Keenan's is always an attractive place to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner and we'll prepared food."

"I'm more of a dive bar guy than a tapas and cocktails guy, but I've met friends here before and it was pleasant. It felt like we were hanging out in someone's parlor or living room; twas a very comfortable environment for conversation. It's also very unremarkable from the outside and easy to miss. I can definitely recommend it as a place to meet friends or a date, but there are other bars within a few blocks of here that I recommend more."

"This is a great spot to sit on the patio for a drink and apps, or a full meal. One of my go to places when I want a good view with my meal. If you can score a patio deck seat during the summer, you won’t regret it. Free parking at the marina. This past weekend, we had no wait for dinner on a Saturday at 6 pm. The service was slow to start, we were accidentally seated at a table with no assigned server. Not a big deal with such a great view. We ordered the seasonal blackberry mojitos to start. I love blackberries, but the drink tasted more like a grape cough syrup flavor to me. My partner loved it. We got the dry ribs as an appetizer, delicious! The meat “melted” off the bone and the sauce was sweet with a little tang. For the main I got the Cod Fish and Chips. The cod and the fries were delicious. The breading was perfect, not too heavy or greasy. And still a good portion size of the cod. My partner ordered the house burger. It was cooked well, no complaints. We will definitely be back."

"The best BBQ in town and at a very reasonable price compared to other places in town. The Brisket and the Pork were absolute perfection, I need to get a 55 gallon drum of that potato salad too! The staff were very friendly and made it a better experience all around. I think it’s probably a good thing they’re only open on the weekends because if they were open every day of the week they would be concerned by the frequency of my visits hahaAlso the Mac and cheese is apparently slappin’ because they were out when I stopped by, can’t wait to get some next time!If y’all need an additional location to set up shop for the day my driveway has plenty of space ?Vegetarian options: The potato salad slapsParking: Right by a brewery with a fairly big parking lot."
