"Food 5/5 atmosphere 5/5 service 5/5 value 5/5 February 2021 This is the best pizza in Charlottesville. It is as Neapolitan as you can get within 2 hours drive, and their sides/salds are diverse and interesting. You know that you stumble on something good when Google Chrome asks you if you want to translate your website from Italian to English. Just try the miso maple hazelnut roasted squash page also some of the best squash I've ever had, and I'm a squash type. It is a seasonal dish and I have seen it on their menu October to February (at least). The portions are a bit small, I think it is possible for a normal adult to finish a pizza alone; that's not a criticism, just a Fyi. October 2022 Review: still the best pizza in Charlottesville. When our first time sat inside, I was enchanted by the cozy, intimate atmosphere. It is no surprise that there is a line outside, 10 minutes before opening. Excellent cocktails, wine, appetizers and natural pizza. All invoices (independent of party size) are calculated an automatic 18% service fee to ensure fair wages, and I could no longer agree with this policy, they deserved it safely. The servers heed the timing of the plates well, bring out the wine quickly, are worth knowing about the wine and are pleasantly warm. There's not one thing I'd change about Lampo."

"A group of us stuck in Mickey Land for a convention were looking for a Sunday brunch spot. Oskars in Waldorf sounded like what we wanted and off we went. While I'm not a fan of buffets, this one looked amazing, with more variety than usual including a smoked salmon bar, ham bar, and honey dripping from a honeycomb! There were a lot of families with kids so it was a bit noisy but that didn't really affect ... everything the group of 4 tried we loved. Only two things that were a little strange was that the cost of the buffet only included mimosas, not Bloody Marys and no eggs Benedict on the buffet. However, what impressed me most was the commitment to making the customer happy. When I got to the salmon bar it was empty even though two staff members I asked told me it would be replenished. When I mentioned it to our waiter he came back and said they were going out which was disappointing. The manager came over apologetically and said they even sent Hikton next door but they were out until Monday ... not what I wanted to hear. 15 minutes later the manager appeared with a plate of the best smoked salmon I've had in a long time ... THAT is service."

"I really enjoyed my food at Cafe Caturra, but the service was pretty terrible this time. We came to brunch for the food and cent mimosas, which were both great (the Caturra mess, biscuits and gravy, and affogato were to die for). However, our waiter was horribly inattentive and I had to go far out of my way to get his attention for mimosa refills, coffee, and the dessert menu. I'm not sure if he had something against our table since we were taking advantage of the cent mimosas, but whatever the reason the service was terrible. We'll definitely be back to Cafe Caturra because the brunch was great, but I'll make sure to request another waiter if we ever have him again."

"The Good, bad, ugly.The good...possibly the best swordfish I have ever eaten. Otherwise the balance of food was just ordinary!The bad.....the service was lousy. There were numerous times we were without water, or sat talking over finished salad or entre dishes and waited way too long for the check and signatures!The ugly.....can you imagine a century colonial home built by Thomas Jefferson for his daughter, decorated and furnished contemporary and modern. The current owners andor management cannot make up their mind who is their customer base. ADD to all above a course pre fix for plus bottle of wine, totaling and you have to seriously reconsider the value"

"Everything we ordered were delicious. Especially the fries. We ordered second fries. The service was excellent. Only funny thing was that there was a small bouncy ball came from nowhere and hit the wall and dropped on one of us. About 1-2 mins later another small bouncy ball hit the restaurant window next to the couple sit not far from us. A waiter reported to the manager and the manager called the police and reported the incident. Like the restaurant very much and highly recommended."
