"We chose this place for its simple menu having had a lot of 5 course dinners over the previous few days . The food was stunningly good. The tastes and textures were beautifully combined. If we had eaten here every night of our trip i would have been delighted. They dealt with my daughter's nut allergy very sympathetically. Worth every penny!"

"Very old , interesting timber framed building with lots and lots of character. Really nice, pleasant and friendly professional staff. English spoken and a menu in English . Amuse bouche interesting! Not particularly appetising Shells with Risotto bland but served hot. Unfortunately some shell had been left in the dish and the last mouthfuls were left due to the crunch! The Rabbit with mustard Could have been hotter and was a bit bland. My wife had the fillet of beef with a sauce which was very good and very tasty . The caramelised pear and chocolate mousse was delicious!."

"After reading the reviews I expected good quality fresh food. Unfortunately, what we got was awful - the worst gazpacho I ever had, made with very salty commercial tomato paste or ketchup. I could not eat it. Next came squid - again very salty, old and poorly cooked. The red wine by glass must have cost less than 2 euros for a bottle. Very disappointing."
