"Really good food. We ordered 2 chicken burgers and a lasagna and a baby dish pasta with sauce. Everything was really nice, hot and delicious. The grill was broken, but there was still a lot of choice and the staff was very apologetic. Wise range of drinks, definitely something for everyone. The staff was nice with my 8-month baby and 2 year old nephews. Easy to access pub, big step on the front door, but there are ramp access only left from the main door. Toilets were really nice, clean and aesthetically good. Nice outdoor seating area and many parking spaces. They show a lot of sport, which isn't really our thing, but they were a nice crowd in there and it wasn't too bad. Will definitely be back."

"Visited on the 27th October with my wife and we were simply blown away by the entire experience. We went with the tasting menu and we both left the restaurant amazed. Service was outstanding, it could not be any better. Greta is a superstar and the level of service provided was top notch. Greta was assisted by an employee that appeared to be fairly new and was learning the role. The person assisting Greta was outstanding as well. We really enjoyed the service provided by both employees. As for the food, I am at a loss for words. Every course was unique and amazing. Unable to decide which dish was my favourite, La Tartare, Il Touro In Raviolo or Il Cervo. We truly enjoyed every dish but the one that really left an impression was the Branzino(Sea Bass). The only way I can describe Brazino, if you were to try and figure out what Autumn tasted like, it was that dish. The entire evening was a five star experience. Chef Valentina has brought something really special to Chester Chef Valentina is an amazing chef, an artist, and someone who users her talent to bring a smile on your face. We are very lucky to have such a great place in Chester."

"We had a lovely meal here whilst stopping at the hotel. Couldn't fault service, choice or price. The seating had just enough room between tables so as not to be overheard and we generally had a really good time. Would definitely recommend to others"

"As always the service and food was exceptional. I wish we lived closer. Abbie went over and above to ensure our visit was memorable. The food was just what we wanted after a long hard day,even though most of it was not on the menu our needs were more than catered for .The quality and temperature of the food was of the highest standard. This service is something you don’t get at many restaurants. It’s all about the customer and these guys at The Fox Hounds really do care about you and your experience with them.Don’t ever change please. Best ice cream in the world. We hope to visit again in the next few weeks."

"Excellent service, delicious food and fairly good service overall. Can be a little slow when busy but generally very good. The ambience and decor of the place is lovely and there is a reasonably good selection of ales available. Certainly one of my favourite pubs in the Cheshire area."
