"Stopped in for early lunch. West Coast Whitebait was special of the day absolutely superb and very well priced. Nice salad and chips to go with. The coffee was so delicious that I actually enquired about the brand (Gravity)! Service was superb and plenty of seating."

"I spent a week in Christchurch for work and ended up here twice because the food was quite possibly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Get the platter, it is worth it. Those chips are something else, the perfect floof inside and crisp on the outside. I will be coming back if I find myself in Christchurch again. There is a nice atmosphere, I’m not an outside eater at all but I was comfortable enough the first night with the heaters and we ended up with a table inside the second night. The service was great, wines were flowing and food was served quickly. Yum, thanks O.G.B you are a fond memory now."

"ATMOSPHERE: Spacious, bright, glass windows and warm! Clean, sophisticated, black interior but not sterile. <br/ <br/ STAFF: Nice, friendly, quite alty <br/ <br/ FOOD: I have had a good experience and an average one. My partner and I both had smashed avo on bread (one with salmon and feta and the other with bacon and poached egg) and both were truly fantastic, a true value for money. They were VERY generous with their avo (later explained due to over purchasing) but still a good indication they use fresh food. Flavour was good and it was extremely filling. Another time I came with my friend we had the chicken waffles with mustard maple syrup. The chicken and sauce itself were great but both our waffles were hard and over cooked which was disappointing. Perhaps a better batter recipe. I also didn't like the pickled red onion but it made nice colour. <br/ <br/ OVERALL: Would come back, they use fresh food that is locally sources which is pretty cool. Also their dinner club nights ad curry/wine nights seem awesome so will have to try that some time"

"I have dined at this beautiful restaurant twice now. Once in a big group setting for my best friends birthday and again for my anniversary. Both times were absolutely amazing. The service is always a 10/10 to me that is just as important as how the food tastes. Which my the way is also amazing. There are plenty of vegan options available across all their menus! And they are clearly labelled. Which brings me to my favourite part. There alcohol menu is also labelled. So you can insure when ordering your red wine that it is vegan friendly. 10/10 across the board for me"

"S much thought has gone in to the atmosphere and it's nice to see a place that's surroundings reflect the food instead of just amazing food in a bland setting. The girls and I loved looking around and admiring the décor as we waited for our breakfast which was absolutely mouth watering. The staff were friendly and attentive. I can't wait to go back. "Had a wonderful evening here recently. We were a large party of 10 but were accommodated without any problem. The food was delicious, it was fantastic to have so many gluten-free options as two of our party were coeliacs. We enjoyed both the pizza and pasta dishes. Great family-friendly atmosphere. Fabulous service. We will definitely be coming back again. So pleased we found you! Tutto bene indeed. Ciao."

"We ate the seafood platter for two as part of their snack menu. Although they didn’t have mussels, the salmon and calamari were really tasty. There had indoors and outdoors seating options which are perfect for any weather. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It was a nice place and overall good experience. If you’re in the area, I would recommend you to stop by and give them a try."
