"A beautiful Italian restaurant. we went to Christmas Eve and during the place was tragically quiet (then covid! the food was delicious and the service was perfect. also the Christmas crackers were very high quality. I had the chicken parma that was a much higher quality chicken breast than the usual carving on which many places to support it."

"Dine in with friends. The seafood spaghetti and the cod with crab are tasty. However, the service is really bad. -The waiter pour the wine out and made table and pram were wet. -We’ve checked several times with waiters about the main course status because our friends are almost finished their meals) but no any response. Just said they will check but no any update from them. -We waiting for the sides until we finished the main course. We asked 3 times with different waiters and no any response from them until the last asking. The lady said they’ve combined our sides to other friends’ portion. It’s ridiculous. No one tell us that they will combined the sides! And we waited for long time for such stupid things. -Wrong billing I’m so disappointed with the mess services. Will not go again. Response to restaurants reply: It’s shame. May be my reviews make you feeling not good. BUT all my reviews are true! Yes, we booked a table for 12 people but 4 kids and 1 baby included. Thus, we ordered 7 main courses with starters desserts for 7 adults and 1 kids meal and wine. I’m feeling sorry for 2 kids running around our table and we did stopped them once you told us. And I appreciated the lady with black clothes who helping us carried the pram upstairs. She was very kind and helpful. However, the staff who mainly serving our table was not very good. She pour the wine out on the table and the baby pram when she collecting the empty wine cup. For the wrong billing Yes, the first bill was £191 that’s lower then the actual bill. We found it wrong and reported it to restaurant even it’s lower price because that’s not what we ordered. And the 2nd bill was wrong again which was overcharged until the 3rd bill. Actually, not only the mess dish arrangement, one of the main course was not correct but we tried to make it simply and just finished it without any complaints. For the dish arrangement and no any updates response from the staff after we asked, really disappointed. What I feeling? I’m wasted my time for waiting because of the poor arrangement. I keep waiting and asking and get no response whole night. And my kid and I feeling very hungry. Because I still waiting my main course and the side. I was wait for whole dinner, my friends almost finished their meals but I’m still waiting. No any reply after asking, just said they will check until our last asking. Throughout the meal no one asked if the food was ok. Made us feel unwelcome. If anyone asked, may be the things will not become that bad."

"Booked a table for 6.15 was seated straight away, stunning restaurant area. our table was close to the door, so kept our jackets on as it was cold) When the food arrived it all looked beautiful, my youngest daughter had from the children's menu which was garlic bread with cheese and ham, egg and chips, she said it was so nice but the chips were chewy, so she left them but was full and happy with the rest of her meal. My eldest daughter had chicken goujions with fries and best gravy she has ever tasted !! Also had garlic bread, she said, she might of found her new favourite place to eat. Then it came to my meal, how disappointing, I ordered a fillet steak which was meant be service with chips,tomato,onion rings, a mushroom , fillet steak with a toasted croute topped with pate and red wine. They forgot the onion rings, but Brought them out, while eating the fillet steak it was a little touch but as it was the edges I thought they could just be slightly over done I ordered medium rare) I got a little closer to the middle it was medium, but the fat and sinew made it impossible to chew and eat, also no pate or red white sauce, as the girls were happy with their meal I eat the toasted croute, mushroom,onion rings and tomato, and like my youngest daughter I thought the chips were chewy very straight feeling to eat) as menu had been taken away I couldn't check if I had misread what was to come with the steak. Never got asked half was though meal if things were OK, even though their was only 1 other table eating in our area at the Same time with about 5 staff waiting on. When they came over to take the plates away they asked if everything was OK, I said not really can I have another look at the menu, which the lady kindly brought over, yes my fillet steak was meant to come with pate and red wine, so I informed her of how bad the quality of steak was and I couldn't eat any more of it and it wasn't served with the pate and red wine, she said I can see that, your plate is dry !! She said sorry about that and walked away. No more was said until bill came and the girl said we have taken off your drink large white wine £7) because of that !!! Wow could believe the explanation for refund of wine... and can't believe that the meal was that bad and things weren't served on it.. and for a £36 meal they refund a £7 glass of wine. No really apology, shocked and stunned that not even a voucher was offered to try and encourage us to come back. Total bill which I paid was £76.00 That was still paying £29 for my meal wow just wow) As we maybe moving to the area, we were hoping this could be our new place to dine out. As my daughters enjoyed their meal, I will give it another try, but I will stay clear of their steak. It was such a shame as its such a stunning place, which was decorated lovely for the festive season."

"We have come to our meal here after this restaurant has been recommended to us and the prices are not cheap compared to other restaurants in the opposite, so we expect it to be a good standard. Unfortunately, it did not live on ours. Expectations were like something they find in a beefeater. quite tasteless and uninteresting. the burgers were good for porn, but not half as good as the stables bar next door (I thought they shared the same kitchen so would be so good.) the sauce on my evening meal was thin and tasteless. my son ordered the salmon with harissa king prawn risotto. I expected it to have a bit pleasant flavor from the harissa, but it was so hot and totally inedible (did the chef actually taste before it out? it was really disgusting. to add it, it had a big bang sweet at the floor that didn't go at all. we complained and the personal was apologetic and offered him something else, but he had eaten the salmon fillet, so we asked for chips. we decided to try desserts, but two were forgotten. Finally we got them, but all desserts were quite intrusive and looked nothing like the pictures on their website. they removed the desserts they have forgotten from the bill. the personal was all very pleasant there, but I must say there are far better eating at other places in the city (the stable, hangin’ pizza, olif) for a fraction of the price. in short, they don't waste their money. we felt cheated."

"My husband and I had a voucher off our son and family for Christmas for this restaurant. We booked a table for lunch for the 10th May 2023, when we arrived we were asked did we want to eat in the bar or the restaurant,but were told the restaurant wasn't used at lunch time usually during the week. we were shown to our table in the bar area. We ordered a starter each and a mains. My husband had ham hock terrine which was nice but the watercress was limp and past it's sell by date. Price £7:95. My goat's cheese brochette dish was mediocre. £7.25 We had ordered the Llandudno Bistro steak for mains- the mushroom served with it was larger than the steak-I asked for a baked potato with my steak but was told it would take too long to cook. It was served with chips,one tomato and watercress. These were priced at £26.95 each.My husband's steak was tough he was unable to finish eating it. Extortionate prices for such a poor meal."
