"I had root plants tagine that was a few slices of butternut quash, some cubes of jazz then only cricket and swirl in a fat tomato sauce. I would expect there to be more root vegetables! my man had the tart that was almost gummy....He mentioned it to the waitress, showed her some of the tart and asked if it should be. she said she would ask the cook, but she didn't mention anything about him for the rest of the evening. I ordered a chocolate brew for dessert, which was served without chocolate sauce, as it is listed on the menu. since it was served without the sauce, was very dry. we didn't want to complain for the second time, we just decided not to go back. I am aware that if we have said something, then we may have to wait until the meal is redissolved and we wanted to eat together. there was really a lack of vegan options a choice that was an salat. I have seen that this has been treated in previous posts that go back a few years, but seems nothing to do with it."

"Given the prices, this is a fantastic bargain. The 3-course Xmas menu was something like £32, which is just ridiculously good value. The food is good (not great), very well presented and the venue is beautiful and interesting. The staff are friendly and keen but quite inexperienced. In fairness, given the odd (and lovely) layout it's very hard for them to keep an eye on everyone's glasses/plates so be prepared to be a little patient. Worth supporting, I'm sure it will improve and the city dearly needs a good restaurant or two."
