"We chose Ai Tardi for our first dinner in the Langhe and were not disappointed. The food was very tasty, albeit filling, as is the case everywhere in Italy it seems! The restaurant looks out over the castle at Grinzane Cavour to the distant mountains, a lovely view. Our waitress Alizia was charming, telling us about her studies and her life. Breads and amuse bouche were followed by a risotto with rabbit for two (delicious! , then vitello tagliatto for me and salmone grigliatto for my wife. Again very tasty but she was getting overfilled by now! Desserts were also really nice. We had 2 glasses of wine each and the bill was very reasonable for such quality. The surprise was that we ate alone until another group arrived at 9.15. We may return later in the week."
