"The title says it all the food here was great and we had a good time .as we went to the place quite early so we saw that all the tables were empty so for a moment we thought otherwise but once we entered we saw a few tables reserved and rightly in about an hour the whole restaurant was full. if you see the menu than only it has starters and pastas and for main dish everything is mentioned on the board so this way they control and make only as meals for the day . really smart . as soon he place was getting busy our service slowed down"

"We walked around the hotel neighbourhood to find a place to eat. Bumped into Rio Douro. Started with a dry white and some snacks. Meanwhile making a choice for main course. We had lovely food, gamba's and mixed meat dish. A bottle of red wine to complete. Very tasty and a good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Other guests know this place for sure, most tables are booked. We had great desserts, a display is attracting your attention, wanted or unwanted :-)"

"This place is absolutely recommended. With a nice shopping trip on the Düsseldorfer Königsallee it is recommended to dine in this restaurant. I went with my family to me, all six people. After a time, of course, we are hungry, and the Buon Giorno fell down. Why not? And just because we're on the babe does not mean that every place offers overpriced food. This criterion is full of a large ambience, comfortable seating and of course delicious food at affordable prices, which are quite rare at the Düsseldorfer Königsallee. Italian food, as it is not expected otherwise, is absolutely satisfactory. Bella Italia welcomes"

"What a nice little cosy restaurant. We were in Düsseldorf just for a weekend, my girlfriend did make reservations from home based on reviews. We did not really know what to expect, but it was a nice surprise! A great meal, a kind service, though...it was much for one waitress on her own. The menu didn't make a difference in starter and main course, so we both took just one meal. For me it was just enough. So no complaints about a too big portion from me, like other reviewers said. That s why I also did take a desert: filled brie with dates and honey. A great taste, subtile and not too sweet. They have a nice wine selection as well. To make reservations on forehand is advised, almost all tables had the sign"
