"We visited in November 2017. It was a busy Saturday night and it's not a huge place, so we (willingly) waited 10 15 minutes for a table to come available (no booking just glad to get in). Once we were seated the service was efficient and friendly just at the right pace. Between us we tried the elk bourguignon and the forest pizza and both were excellent especially the bourguignon. The sides (garlic bread, olives and sweet potato fries) were all up to a good standard too, although altogether it ended up being too much for our two hungry mouths after a day of running. We didn't mind leaving a little as every dish was enjoyable and worth trying. Good selection of wines too. No room for dessert this time but I hope we'll be back! Prices very reasonable for hearty, tasty meals. Can't fault our experience on this occasion."
