"Our family came to The Dog for Sunday lunch as a group of 12. Food and service were great. They catered to my gluten free diet very well, with plenty to choose from, including gluten free gravy for the Sunday roast. Overall a wonderful meal and would certainly return."

"Arrived for a pre-booked meal. Confirmation received previous day by email and I had made a phone call weeks prior to amend the booking. Only to find out that when all of us arrived the kitchen was closed and there was no booking...on the system. We ended up having around of drinks but these were not offered free of a charge as a good will gesture. Ended up at a local Indian which was lovely. Trying to find a table for people on a Sunday night at is not easy task. Needless to say my son's birthday luckily wasn't ruined as we went elsewhere. And I'm still waiting for the call I was promised to try and make it up to us'. I"

"It was a bit hard to find (google maps it has 50 meters away from its actual location and it does not look like much on the outside,) but it is a warm, welcoming restaurant on the inside. the employees were all very nice and friendly they all seemed to enjoy, work there and the lady who served us did a very good work to tell us about the specials. a little slow at a few moments, but nothing to fear. eating was very good quality and decent portions. we paid £50 for 2 of us, but they had a lot of main dishes for under £10 and it was a nice environment. I would like to go back and try more dishes!"
