"Visiting restaurants alone is often a challenge, and a way to see what the restaurant is ACTUALLY driven by. Monferrato gave me a nice table (it was a quiet day), and the ravioli were perfect tasty with a lovely condimento al brasato. Sadly, a very limited choice of wine by the glass; a couple of corks and a wine saver would provide easy options. True to many other reviews, the place is charming but could use a refresh; those light blues could be replaced by warmer shades, some low lights would give flexibility…. And eliminating the drugstore cooling counter would be a plus."
