"On our family skiing trip last week for new year we went down the valley to ski out from a differnet lift ... being off the slopes by 5 because it gets dark we decided to have an early supper. What a welcome we got...from the team at the Le Swallow. Whilst they serve from 7pm .. a few delicious local beers and wine made the wait a great one and we watched the world go by in this buzzy, happy bar/bistro So that evening there were just the three off us that sat up at a higher table to eat which was casual but fun. The menu was so tempting in a fresh and contemporary way. Two home burgers and salad, with chesse and mushrooms ... carefully bound with local bakery buns ... stunning salad and dressing and naughty frys .... My husband had the sword of lamb my it looked good. The extra wines were delicious .. and puddings superb .. all served with the twinkle of great sing song staff .. who couldnt have done a drop more WELL DONE SWALLOW!! Given our mutual love of the area for skiing we were thrilled to add another 5 star moment to our memories. We were lucky to book ... I suggest it's best to do so in advance normally. Thanks everyone at Le Swallow Happy New Year"
