"I lived in Lake County for 32 years, but I've never been to Deer Path Inn. My friends took my birthday last Saturday night. It was a nice night, so we sat outside in the English room. When the sun went down, the white light decorations were so charming and romantic. Our waiter Henry was just wonderful. The first course was a huge popover... I love Popover! For a starter we ordered Scallops on Pea risotto, which was very different (each bite). We chose to share two salads and both were fresh and tasty. Henry suggested the Dover-sole and I enjoyed every mouthful. My friend had the lamb dogs and they were so beautifully presented and excellent. When it was my birthday, Henry brought three huge pieces of birthday cake with ice cream. What my friends and I noticed most about dinner was that it rushed even that made the dining room experience very, very pleasant. All in all, it was one of the most unforgettable culinary experiences ever. Thank you. Deer Path Inn... I'm back!"
