"Waiting time between antipasto and main course was more than an hour … ! When we asked they kept saying food will be here soon …. When we finally stood up to leave they got us our food … pork was still half raw so...I returned it and pasta wasn’t cooked properly… No idea why this restaurant is ranked at no12 in Lucerne… At least they didn’t charge us for the half raw pork … I appreciate it was a Friday evening but the waitress did admit they’re short of stuff in the kitchen… You would imagine that owning a restaurant in central Lucerne you would at least employ enough stuff … good luck if you decide to dine here … make sure you have about 3 hours to have a 2 course meal…."

"My family met a nice person at Schilthorn, who recommended that we go here for dinner while we were in Luzern. We are so happy that we followed his advice. The dinner and ambience were amazing. We were served by the youngest brother, who treated us very well. My younger son had their house pizza, which he declared was the best pizza he ever had (and he's had plenty! . My older son had the pasta with truffles. Amazing! I had the frutto mare, and added some spice powder as recommended by another brother. Amazing as well. My wife also enjoyed her dinner. We also split various appetizers, which all were perfectly done. Their white wine from their own vineyard were a super complement for a summer night as well. I want to thank the nameless nice person at Schilthorn who recommended the place. One day, I'll find out who you were. Thanks! I understand from the younger brother that you a frequent guest, and we'll make sure we visit every time we are in town. Thanks also for all the other advice you provided! Thanks to all!"

"Wir gehen gern und oft ins grottino...die pizza ist genial und auch die teigwaren super lecker...besonders schmeckt mir auch das safran risotto, sehr sehr fein.im sommer kann man draussen sitzen und fühlt such wie in italien, wenn der verkehr an einem vorbei zieht und ansonsten ist es im urigen keller total gemütlich!"
