"4.5 stars. Excellent little local restaurant in Menlo park. My toddler loved the bread here. I orderer the linguini a la vongoli. Well prepared. Al dente pasta. Big and numerous clams. The pasta could be a bit more flavorful. Surprisingly, I prefer little clams for this dish. My husband ordered the spaghetti Bolognese which I liked better. Good wine by the glass list. I preferred the Sauvignon Blanc to the Pinot grigio (too much acidity) for pairing with the linguini a la vongoli. Great service. Fast and friendly staff. Will be back!"

"This was the second time we had lunch at Angelo Mio. Staff is really great and kids are welcome. Food was good, although it was could. As it was Mother’s Day there were more customers than usual. A bigger group of staff would solve it, so food gets warm to the table!"

"Updated: Dined outside on the patio. Got the $40 Vegetarian Tasting menu, Basil Squash soup and Panna Cotta. Everything was stellar, you can really taste the freshness in the veggies. Very satisfying and well balanced. One of the best meals I've had in the Bay Area this year! Love the Cal-Italian emphasis on fresh, sustainable ingredients. You can really taste the freshness. Definitely off the beaten path, not close to the 101, but well worth it. I got takeout and smelled the garlicky Wild Mushroom Risotto all the way home. Great taste and very filling. Also got the Black cod. The fish was cooked perfectly, soft and delicious. Plus the vegetables that came with the fish were very not overcooked and not the usual side veggies. Nice. Also got the pumpkin cheesecake, also fantastic. And the bread and scones were great as well as the sweet bread for the desert. Well rounded meal, every dish delicious. Highly recommend."

"I made reservations for ten of us two weeks in advance. It was the first time my family was going to be together with our almost 90 year old father in 5 years, we were very excited about our reunion. When I contacted this establishment on the day of to ask if we could please be seated on the main floor due to our fathers mobility issues the man I was speaking with couldn't have been more rude and condescending. We ended up having to make other plans last minute due to how unaccomodating they were. I would highly discourage visiting this place, it seems like they have extremely poor management, we found another place quite easily that far exceeded our needs and expectations. Trellis seems dirty and not reputable. Lesson learned."
