"Tandory is a restaurant where I had the pleasure of experiencing food as a pure art form. Every single part of the meal has its vision on how it should come across and be, and offers a unique artistic statement from the Chef. From the very first entrée, before your starter, which for us was a soup with a distinct coconut taste, a creamy cheese spread to have with your bread, and a delightful hot sauce. We enjoyed a brie starter which came with green leaves, sweet sides and sauce, it was fried and gooey and incredible. I enjoyed the rabbit for the main course, which came with a very homely and rural tasting sauce with peppercorns, and vegetables that had their own statements, and a delightful puree that shared the same ideas as the soup from the entrée. For dessert, the nemesis chocolate cake with orange mousse was like eating rich chords played with all ten fingers and the sustain pedal on a piano. Each mouthful had a long impression that allowed each flavour and texture to present itself to you in order and take their time to fade away. Definitely something to take your time and savour every mouthful with the respect it deserves. Taken as a whole, the meal played out like a symphony, with certain ideas re-appearing in later courses, and every single part of every dish had its own unique statement, vision and idea of what it itself was. This place is beyond food, it is cuisine and art. I am just as impressed with the meal at Tandory as I am seeing my favorite musicians play music live, and I must recommend this place for anyone who enjoys art, to experience the vision of the Chef. And to add, the waiter was very informative, had a great grasp of not only English and Spanish, but also Portuguese, and really helped with his recommendations. A superb restaurant, a must visit."
