"Tourist restaurant. Food was filling but much of it lacked the flavor I like in authentic Italian food. Dessert was delicious and the service was prompt. Music would've been more suited to an elevator. I expected more in a place full of pianos. Good value for the money and location. "Fantastic ambience. Very elegant and sheik. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Prix fixe menu. Extensive wines menu and a fully stocked bar. I had Glen Morangie and a special cocktail. We had a fantastic salad and oysters from PEI to start. Our main dish was snapper with olives and a vegetable both an lobster risotto. The desert was peach Melba and berries in a grand marnier cream sauce. We finished with a coffee. Pricey but highly recommended."

"April 15, 2023 second time for mid-day lunch. First time was ok. This time, I asked for a substitute pasta and no bacon. Waiter was rude and said you don 't want bacon, whatever else you choose you will pay extra. Five dollars extra for a few mushrooms . I opted not to have coffee and dessert. There was roadwork being done on Third Avenue, non stop drilling, cars honking due to lanes closed. Every door to the restaurant was open, making this visit unpleasant. Wait staff needs to be apprised how to treat customers with more finesse. I will not return."
