"I'd heard about Lallah Rookh for a few years but had never had the opportunity to go. Brother and his girlfriend in town gave me the chance for a family dinner. Very pleasant dining space down stairs in a basement setting. Did not feel cramped or closed in as some basement settings can be. Easy to find the entrance right off St George's Tce. The menu is Italian and full of fresh produce and tasty sounding dishes. We went with the Il Capo or 'feed me' option. This is a surprise menu of 6 dishes designed to be shared by the whole table. 3 entrees, a pasta, a main and a dessert. This is great value at $68 per person. Every dish was visually enticing and all were very tasty. The Panko Crumbed Pork Shoulder was delicious whilst the Spaghetti Vongole was a winner as the pasta dish. The drinks list is extensive and includes a large variety of wines. Tending towards Italian varietals, as you would expect, but from across the globe. Everyone should be able to find a drink that they enjoy. The staff are fantastic. Prompt to serve, clear and assist with any questions you may have. They definitely enhanced the experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant for either a casual after work meal in the city or a more formal night out with family or friends. And definitely go Il Capo!"

"Awesome place and great service but there was a little bit of a wait between entre and mains. The drinks are a little pricey but I think that's because a majority of them are house specials/made ? But the desserts (the pannacotta is the best!) and coffee are amazing :)"

"Zafferano was really good! I had the mushroom risotto and it is definitely one of the better ones I 've had in Perth! We came here for my brother 's 21st birthday dinner and the staff had arranged to have happy 21st birthday on his dessert. They were very professional and the restaurant was well polished. I found the price to portion size slightly high but the quality of food was undeniable. The birthday dessert was the Wildflower Honey Bavarios. The other dessert we tried was the Cookies and cream terrine a must for chocolate lovers."

"Never been so unimpressed! We pre-booked a table because we had a hour lunch break. We had to wait 50 minutes for the food which tasted bad and the chips were over cooked. All they offered was free drinks and a small discount. This place is a waste of time."

"A very funky bar, Angel's Cut by Trustee offers a wide array of delicious cocktails and very reasonably priced food (if you look at how much you get). The staff were all very friendly and service was very quick."

"A group of friends visited here for drinks on Saturday night and was looking forward to a relaxing evening catching up.The place wasn't too crowded and we were able to grab a seat. Unfortunately not enough seating for everyone and they closed the upstairs area so you couldn't sit upstairs in the outdoor area.The bar was crowded and they clearly didn't have enough staff to cater for the amount of patrons they had, or enough seats (even high bar seats). The music was ridiculously loud, so you had to shout in your friends ear to be heard. We gave up after an hour and left.I've been here in the daytime before and it was a much more enjoyable time during the day than at night."
