"Il posto non è da considerarsi un ristorante, bensì una cucina con dei tavoli all' aperto.Il cibo è stato il tipico cibo da microonde. Abbiamo chiesto una lasagna alla bolognese e dei ravioli al salmone. La lasagna è arrivata tiepida, o era già stata preparata, probabile, e quindi solo riscaldata nuovamente o forse una porzione congelata e riscaldata al microonde. I ravioli normali ma nulla di eccezionale. Diciamo che cucinando in casa avrei sicuramente fatto di meglio. Ma per essere in messico non ci si lamenta.La cosa piu' allucinante e assurda, mai capitata in vita mia, è stato il servizio ma soprattutto la cafonaggine del proprietario.Iniziamo col dire che il servizio non esiste, ho chiesto 3 volte una bottiglia di acqua che alla fine mi è stata portata dopo 40 minuti, ci sono stati tolti i piatti velocissimamente una volta finita la pietanza, nel senso che ancora c' era parte del piatto, tipo salsa, che avremmo voluto magari finire con un po' di pane, ma senza chiedere nulla, il piatto ci è stato tolto di punto in bianco. Eravamo molto affamati, vabè pazienza, ci rifaremo con un secondo piatto o con un' altra pietanza. Aspettiamo che qualcuno venga ad attenderci nuovamente, ma meravigliosamente, aspettiamo invano, nel senso che il cameriere ci sparecchia la tavola, lascia solo i bicchieri di vetro. In tutto questo, al tavolo vicino, il proprietario con i suoi amici italiani, guardando calcio in tv ,gridando e bestemmiando, da tipico italiano medio, pero' vabè, ognuno fà quel che vuole a casa sua, ma almeno avere l' accortezza di non urlare come un forsennato quando si esprime un concetto, con la vena della giugulare gonfissima. Non riuscivo a parlare con la persona al lato, e non è una forzatura. Sinceramente a un certo punto ci siamo sentiti molto scomodi, soprattutto perchè nessuno veniva a prendere una nuova ordinazione e non riuscivo nemmeno a parlare con il mio commensale. Decidiamo di chiedere il conto e quando arriva, il prezzo totale delle nostre pietanze scritto in piccolo, mentre nella voce totale, il prezzo con il 15% di mancia. Siamo rimasti sbalorditi, premetto che vivo in playa del carmen, e qua la mancia è come negli stati uniti, nel senso che è di "prassi" lasciare una mancia, ma si tratta comunque di una cortesia e la quantita è facoltativa a seconda del servizio. Il minimo di solito è un 10% dell' importo, però in ogni caso, sono sempre generoso, soprattutto se il servizio è gradevole e simpatico. Qui obiettivamente avevo molti dubbi sulla quantita di mancia, però non avremmo voluto fare i soliti "europei" che qui in messico sono riconosciuti per essere taccagni. Bene, nel mentre mi accingo a preparare i soldi per pagare, il simpaticissimo proprietario sotto l' effetto di qualche droga (credo) inizia a scherzare con la mia compagna, pensando che lei non capisse italiano, in maniera abbastanza maleducata, la mia compagna non risponde zittita, e lui pensandosi simpatico ci dice che se non stiamo bene, di non tornare più.. tutto questo con cafonaggine assurda. Mai capitato che un ristoratore mi dicesse di non tornare, ma sicuramente accoglierò il suo invito!!! E naturalmente la nostra mancia è stata del 1% , ben di più di quel che valeva la pena!!A playa del carmen ci sono moltissimi ristoranti italiani, soprattutto di miglior qualità, anzi, mooooolto meglio, qualità, prezzo e servizi. Uno è anche a semplicemente una quadra di distanza, peccato che fosse chiuso quel giorno. Se questa "trattoria" è al 72 posto di tripadvisor, c'è una ragione. Finchè lavoreranno essendo in una zona centrale, dubito che miglioreranno il servizio.Beh che dire, concludo che sbagliando si impara. Se qualcuno è alla ricerca di un buon posto con attenzione al cliente.. andate da un' altra parte!!"

"We ate breakfast here every morning and they have the best coffe in Playa. For us as swedes its Very importent. Very friendly staff that will do anything for you. Quick service and really tasty food. Cant say how they are in the evenings since We only ate here in the mornings"

"Exceptional food in an authentic, non-demanding environment. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, which added to the great experience. For bread lovers, there are 3 different breads, all of which are made there and are all wonderful. I stop on the way out of town to pick up bread and take it home to friends. My salad was fabulous and the vodka chicken pasta (a specialty) was cooked perfectly with a wonderful sauce. The specials change with the seasons. Desserts are all made there and everyone looked great. We share the ice cream on Sunday with homemade caramelized marshmallows and chocolate ganache. It was wonderful. You can share it with 4 people as it is very large. We will definitely have dinner here again when we return to Mayo and Golf."

"This was one of the best new restaurants in playa del carmen. we visited it in the march, tried to revise in september together with my daughter and my son in the law. we discovered that it was closed and replaced by a chicken stable. what a disappointment!"
