"Loved the crab cake so much! Calamari was salty to my liking. Clam chowder soup was runny and not thick. Lobster roll was okay. Fries were really good but the bread was not toasted and lobster meat was shredded so it was different from the classic ones I had in MA and RI. The people serving were really kind and the outside seating has good atmosphere. During lunch hours it was calm and peaceful and at dinner time it was busy but cool vibe."

"The best on the shore in Years!!!. This is really the best place to hit the Jersey Shore are in years! I have read the reviews of the naysayers and really do not know what they are talking about. We have eaten there about 10 times in the past four months and every meal is amazing! I love the way they do their fish, usually I order the special so it is always different, but never overcooked and always sooo fresh! DH prefers their meats and just loves the steaks and Osso Buccco. We have only had one blimp and that was only with a rather rude server, Patty. Since then we just tell Karen, give us anyone else. The food is amazing and 99% of the time so is the service."

"This restaurant is too pricey for the value. While the food was decent. The main course would be enhanced with larger side portion such as rice, vege or potatoes. No bread or salad? Why not put out some bread sticks. Something that goes with this type of price. It is an attractive BYOB setting but for the price there are better choices."

"The banquet room was a nice space for a wedding reception. However, the cocktail hour was in a small room with a low ceiling, very crowded and uncomfortable. Food was hit or miss; some delicious items, some mediocre. Great bartenders and servers."

"Upon entering we were curtly told by the short blonde hostess that there was a 45 minute wait for a table, even though half the tables were empty, so we got 2 seats at the bar. The bearded bartender with glasses completely ignored us after he gave us our first very weak drink and took our food order. He did not ask us if our food was satisfactory or acknowledge us in any way during our meal. After 10 minutes of sitting with empty glasses, he never asked if we wanted a second drink though we were sitting right in front of him. He never asked if we wanted water after we received our burned pizza, and most irritatingly he never put the Yankees game on TV after we politely asked, and saying that he would. The bar back did kindly give us water immediately upon request, thus earning this establishment a second star rating. Otherwise, the bearded bartender earned one star. I would not recommend B2 Bistro based upon the sub sub par service and mediocre food."

"We dined at Poached Pear this week. It was our second time there. Both times the food and service were top notch. They have a great menu and really good specials. Our server Cherie was really great. She is both pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu. We will look forward to our next visit!"

"Here twice as far...both meals were amazing! For a local steak house, Steak was just as good as any NYC steakhouse. Had the cowboy crucible, perfectly cooked and fed perfectly! Appetizers super (house bacon, etc., pages were awesome( I like the “Disco-Fries, good choices on menu, beautiful ambience, fantastic service. I will definitely be back!"
