"Dinner was superb! The restaurant was decorated beautifully the Italian music playing made it feel like a touch of Italy. Our server was named Evan he was attentive, knowledgeable about all the dishes and a pleasure to get to know. After dinner he arranged a kitchen tour I was incredibly surprised at the structure inside the kitchen. The professors should be proud of their students."

"Had a very good meal of local mushrooms, steak and a shrimp scampi that was the best I?ve ever had. The evening was an early fall, warm night that made it enjoyable to drink some red wine and socialize with a few affable locals and watch folks enjoying their cocktails and meals. Go and enjoy. This was not my first visit and the meals and soups are exquisite. The salmon portion of the salmon salad was overly generous and the greens were very fresh and local. Whether the soupis pumpkin or tomato- you?ll love either. Add a grilled cheese with that tomato and comfort food is made!!"

"We had dinner at J. Domenick’s last evening with family from CT. Previously we have always had a delicious meal and great service here. We were very dissalojnted with our food last evening. My crabmeat stuffed filet of sole tasted very fishy along with the so called crab meat stuffing hardly containing any crabmeat, mainly bread crumbs. I barely got through a quarter of the meal and wouldn’t eat anymore and spoke to the waitress about this. Another family member had the stuffed crab meat shrimp dish and again the shrimp was like rubber with no crab meat in the stuffing. A third family member had veal parmigiana dinner and said the tomato sauce was very watery, not good for the money that we were paying Unfortunately the quality of the food was not up to our expectations at all, which disappointed us as long time customers of J. Domenick’s. We were also surprised that a Manager didn’t even come out to apologize for the issue of our food."

"Picked up. Ahi tuna and shrimp scampi dinner. The food was excellent like it usually is. What made this experience wonderful was that the manager stepped in and was able to find some great sides for the shrimp scampii. they were out of roasted potatoes. She was female, young 20s and gave me some nice options to round out the meal. She was able to get me some quality mashed potatoes and some sautéed spinach. In addition she threw in some breadsticks. She did this with kindness and class She turned it into a wonderful situation. We get takeout from here often and I know that she will always do a great job for us in the future. Thank you Savona’s for having a great manager?"
