"We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. We will have to thank her for a great evening! We split a beet salad and it was presented as two lovely, already split plates. We also split the surf turf dinner, again served beautifully in two generous servings. Our waiter, Mario, was excellent and the manager even stopped by our table to thanks us for coming (a nice touch). This is a restaurant we might have overlooked in a cute boutique hotel right in the heart of downtown san jose del cabo. The decor was very artsy and fitting for a place that has an art walk on Thursdays. We highly recommend going here and hope to return."

"Wow! what an amazing brunch at la deriva! I had previously participated in brunch at cascabel, which was great, but it moved to la deriva it started on a new level. we were on a day with a gas cook (chef abraham) of metate together with the amazing work of chef chef emanueles team. we fucked on smoked bark, huh and sucking pig. tested the pizza, risotto (super tasty,) burger, lobster, garnelen and raw bar. bubbles, mezcal and tequila tasting, and the welcome cocktail were the perfect welcome. somehow we managed to press in a special order churros for dessert. everything was made to order, the service was fantastic, and the ambiente could not beat. can not wait to return! thank you. chef emanuele for providing an unforgettable experience."
