"Fantastic food on offer here, if the starters are a tad expensive. The restaurant offers high class dining with a rustic aesthetic that doesn't quite gel, but I do appreciate the decor choice. Sadly today was let down by average service. Wrong desserts brought to us, wine forgotten about and arrived after our dinner, plates took an age to be cleared away etc. However, one of the nicer restaurants near us and worth a visit."

"No vegan options on the menu, but when I asked, I was offered chickpea dhansak or fungus drugof. I had the dhansak who was very nice. the decor of the pub is beautiful and the staff was super helpful and friendly. I was offered to dessert."

"We stayed for 2 days. The best thing is that it is close to the station so it is an easy train ride to the centre of Cambridge. However the inn is dirty. The cutlery in the room was not clean and dirty, the cutlery for dinner was dirty. The stairs haven’t been cleaned in months and the net curtains throughout the hotel and in the room were Black, they have never been washed, not ever. There was no service or staff working the weekend. Really really poor."

"Totally enjoyable meal. A friend and I ate out in the garden under a tent top. Atmosphere was lovely. I had some pickled onions for starters followed up by a medium rare steak with wholegrain mustard accompanied with some chunky chips. Meal was perfectly prepared and presented and the chunky chips were so good I did something unthinkable and ordered a second portion. Great experience and highly recommended."
