"Booked a table for Sunday lunch. It is a noisy, shabby, and very very cold place to be. Had to go to the bar to ask if we could order food, after waiting 20 minutes for a server. Ordered Sunday roast, after 55 minutes it had not appeared, not a word from a server or the kitchen to explain why. Everything at the walnut tree is so very tired, right down to the lumps of old foam for sitting on. Never again. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"We booked this for a large family group to celebrate a special birthday. Ages ranged from 1 to 60 and there were 34 of us altogether. Well, the meal could not have gone any better. We were all served at the same time, the food was perfectly cooked and plentiful, the staff were AMAZING so patient and helpful and the setting was beautiful. Everyone that attended said how brilliant the place was and appreciated the friendly atmosphere with staff even taking photos for us all. We would go back again in a heartbeat and definitely recommend Drusillas to anyone looking for a lovely place to have something to eat or even just a drink. Thanks so much..... It was perfect!!"

"After a wonderful, swinging walk on the south harding down we decided to visit the white horse for an early dinner after we had noticed from 2018 good pub guide that we were very close (3 km). fabulous pub, extremely welcoming renter and bar staff who made us feel like old friends (who had heard of us until ten minutes before we arrived) and they made a great fuss of rona. great food and table service was excellent. next time we'll go south harding down. highly recommended."
