"Every season one of my favorite restaurants in Vienna! This restaurant belongs to the Figelmüller family, but is a different concept for their Schnitzel restaurants. Lugeck is more of a state-of-the-art inn serving a range of traditional and non-traditional cuisine. The tradition is of course Vienna/Austria! There is always a special menu and it always reflects the incredible seasonality of Austrian cuisine. The food is consistently good, the service is efficient and friendly and the ambience revived! In summer they have a beautiful outdoor area, which is also well shaded"

"Could be 4 stars really... Every time I pass Rochus there is a rumpus... it’s always packed. There is often a queue. I couldn’t work out why. Turns out inside is massive and you can walk in and get a table, or reserve. Outside is smoking and limited, which is where Austrians seem to want to sit, hence the queue. They are queuing for outside. So if you want inside, walk past. Service good. They just need to be more organised."

"I know there are many comments about bad service in this restaurant, but we didn't have that experience. The staff were quite helpful and friendly and my sense is they are now very aware of the impact social media can have on their business. I'm glad we took a chance and had dinner here as the food was wonderful and the atmosphere was very nice. I particularly loved the white asparagus salad and my drink with rose petals in it. We are very happy with this choice."

"Vienna has a lot of these, places with really bad attitude. We walked in hungry around 3PM and asked for a table. The waiter said that they had a "cover charge", I looked around and I wasn't sure if he was just charging us because we were a certain color or because it was raining, we had kids and he decided to make a quick buck. We said thank you and walked out and found a really nice place just down the road (away from the touristy places). Stay far away from this place, their attitude is disgraceful."
