"Ashley was a terrible server. Rushed us. Not friendly! I like Red Onion, but not this server! Eat all right, but I had come my last bite and duck. I just asked about 10 minutes. It wasn't busy. She accused the cook instead of taking responsibility for her mistake."

"Crab cakes and salads were good. Pasta was overcooked, mushy. Main course (salmon with sun-dried tomatoes) lacked something to bring tastes together. Tried to fix it with the shaker of parmesan cheese, but it had gone moldy in the most dreadful way, and wrecked the dinner, made it completely inedible and the whole thing had to be tossed out. So bad and disgusting that I lost my appetite. The place is cute and has potential, but ugh, ugh, a horrid outcome on this particular night. The proprietor was kind enough to not charge for the dish, and provided a complimentary dessert. But...Still...not coming back."

"We had a great night at Tuscany Italian Restaurant this past weekend. The weather was great for the patio. The food was amazing (as always). They even made my manacotti (not pictured) to order with alfredo! My son got the fettuccine alfredo. My husband got one of the specials Osso Buco with risotto. We even got desserts to go for later. Everything was so good; outstanding service, not too loud so we could have a conversation. It was such a nice time with the family. Can't wait to go back!"

Firstly, the restaurant is neatly tucked in the heart of Woodstock, Vermont, drawing my family and me due to the promise of authentic Spanish cuisine. Initially, the atmosphere was less than ideal, with cramped seating hindering our ability to enjoy a quiet family dinner. We anticipated ambient chatter but found ourselves struggling to hear amidst everyone else's conversations, despite the place being somewhat empty. This highlights the compact size of the restaurant, likely influenced by the older buildings in downtown Woodstock and the premium rent associated with the area. Secondly, my order of a market-priced steak, my wife's Jerk chicken, and my son's chicken nuggets left us disappointed. The items were overpriced, and the food lacked seasoning. Authentic Spanish cuisine typically boasts seasoned and flavorful dishes, but we found ourselves questioning whether the food had been seasoned at all. Although my son enjoyed his $10+ chicken kids meal, receiving bland food at these prices felt unacceptable. We recognize the location's influence on pricing but believe that blandness shouldn't be the compromise, perhaps catering to a diverse community less accustomed to bold seasonings. Lastly, the customer service was satisfactory—courteous with occasional lapses in attention, never crossing into rudeness. Overall, not a terrible place, but for those seeking truly authentic Spanish food or more reasonably priced options with better quality control, I recommend exploring other establishments."

"On a bright sunshiny although blustery and unseasonably cool June 22 day hunger and proximity brought me to Cucina in Woodstock NY. I chose to sit on the lovely wisteria vined porch. I craved the NY strip steak which comes with thin shoe string French fries and a small lightly dressed pile of arugula. I had a glass of French red and a fresh Oj. I hadn’t eaten all day so I was really hungry and thirsty too. They offered bread with my meal but I live GF so when I declined my waitress told me about their GF pizza crust as an alternative. It’s made with cauliflower ,tapioca flour,yeast etc.. when baked its sprinkled with rosemary and flake salt then served with olive oil for dipping. It was delicious. My steak was perfectly cooked, at my requested MR ,flavorful and juicy . The shoe string French fries were hot ,crispy and perfectly seasoned. Arugula is arugula but with the cilantro sauce ,served for the steak, was perfect to balance out the bitter greens. The furnaces were set up as the evening progressed but fortunately for me , who had zero plans for dining out, they sell warm clothing brandishing their name! Wait staff and the manager were very helpful and efficient. The porch became more crowded but I was blissfully enjoying every bite of my meal. I didn’t eat too many fries because I saw the specials. One of the specials was a rhubarb strawberry crisp with vanilla ice cream.. I gave in. When asked if I liked it I happened to be tearfully remembering my deceased relatives who I shared this with in times past.. This dessert was delicious as the blend of tart and sweet with creamy and nutty bites evoked emotions I hadn’t expected! Food should reach your heart and this meal did all of that for me."

"On my first trip to downtown Woodstock I landed at Century House for lunch. It was a rare day in Metro Atlanta sunny and warm with zero humidity, so the outdoor terrace was full. Instead of waiting for an opening, we fucked in a table. I am glad we had a reservation (Friday to Lunch! because this place was full! I ordered the beet salad (the goat cheese with grilled chicken). Delicious! My friend chose the chicken salad sandwich it was great and delicious! He came with the best riders of all times in our humble assessment! They were completely crispy and we left nothing behind. I loved this place so much I want to bring my parents here next! Sidenote: I love iced tea and Century House also has a great brew! Enjoy!"

"Very enjoyable evening. Our server was attentive and helpful. The Country Pate was very good as was the Smoked Salmon. I tried the Carré d’Agneau Royale (boneless Rack of Lamb) and it was very good. My wife tried the Magret of Duck (boneless Duck Breast) and very much enjoyed the preparation. I would absolutely come back. Service: Dine in"
