"I had booked a meal for my elderly Uncle cousin myself, we arrived in plenty of time, finally got a table even though we had booked a table, we were seated and given menus, before we could take half a breath we were asked for our drinks order, so we ordered wines, finally ordered our meals and were told 10 minutes later that 2 meals were not available and should not have been on the menu!! So sadly ended up with Fish Chips! Not my idea of fine cuisine, sadly there nothing else on the menu Uncle I fancied. I personally think it was rather expensive for fish chips, the third meal was told to me to be okay, we were hoping for cackling to be on the menu but No! Needless to say, we were rather disappointed all round. Will probably stick witht the HIghdown from now on."

"Last night in the dining room we had a big secret ‘menu degustation’ with a weeping flight. we loved the scallops with fennel and black pudding crumbles, the black one that was cooked for perfection and above all the gray mullet with a color risotto and roasted tomato emulsion. it was equipped with a clever combination of banans and nebel for dessert and cheese (there was another dessert option). a tasty starter of laek and blue cheese tea and a refreshing Rhabarb sorbet on the way finished the menu. All courses were excellently cooked and presented with great service and carefully selected wines. a great meal of exactly the right proportions and with a happy willingness to adapt to some nutritional requirements. this (very good) restaurant is not to miss! we will be back when the menu changes every month."

"We chose the early evening menu and were not disappointed. A good sardine starter followed by sea bass. As it was Wednesday, we were entitled to the government discount but this wasn’t shown on the bill. The server claimed the price in the menu was...already discounted and asked if we had asked for the discounted menu. I said we did when we phoned our reservation and no where did it state that the early evening menu was discounted. Interestingly, this menu is available every weekday early evening at the same price. In the end, she checked with someone and offered us a £10 discount, which I accepted. IMO, the restaurant deserves 4 stars for service and food quality, but let itself down badly by its lack of transparency."

"Fantastic eating. the staff was polite and the service was exactly as they would expect at a place like food. the waiting period for the main course was much longer than expected, but eating was worth waiting and we were offered free coffees than away to wait for the time. Eating is a place that you need to try when looking for a fine restaurant in the environment of worthing."

"We recently held my Mum's 80th birthday celebrations at the Indigo restaurant, a lunch for 17 people. We had a large private dining room and access to a courtyard all at no extra cost. The food and service was excellent and the staff could not have done more for the party. From first contacting the restaurant about the reservation to the lunch itself the customer service was excellent and exceeded my expectations. Many, many thanks to Richard Simon and the whole team for making it such a memorable and enjoyable occasion."

"Had a booking for 4 people today at midday. the eating was nice and the portions were so big can definitely recommend the teig balls as an extra they were delicious. we had a mix of items from the menu and everything was perfect. the waiter was really friendly and recommended us dinge without being pushed. the only thing I think is that they should offer for pizzas pizza knives. would definitely return."
