"There are plenty of cafes in the Ashgrove area and this one seems to be consistently full. So decided to give it a try. As usual, it was quite busy and my partner and I had a browse of the menu then went up to order. Service was very efficient. Not overly friendly but during peak rushes that cant be helped. Drinks were very prompt and I thought the crockery was lovely. The coffee cups and tea pots look very nice. Now 2 meals and 2 drinks came to $50, a little pricy compared to other cafes in the area. <br/>I ordered the potato rosti which was ok. The rosti itself came in two triangles. One of them was beautifully cooked. The other.. not so much very overdone literally couldn't cut it with my knife. It was a shame because the pesto eggs were actually very nice. My partner got the big brekky. He was satisfied with it.. although nothing special. The portions weren't overly massive and I'm not sure if they are worth the $16-19 they are charging. Not a bad price compared to other places but expensive when the meal turns out the way my rosti did...<br/>Would I pay $50 to visit this café again..? Probably not. But might have come on a bad day.."
