"Tenu par une dame Thaïe, installée a Paris depuis plusieurs années, ce petit bout de restaurant, bien caché au milieu de la rue Truffaut, le coin Hype du 17ème, vaut le détour. Vivant a Bangkok, le dejeuner pris dans ce restaurant rappelle les senteurs et saveurs du pays du sourire, les piments en quantités réduites ! Une bonne adresse pour passer un moment entre amis et découvrir ou redécouvrir la cuisine Thaïlandaise, comme si vous y étiez."

"Sometimes you just need a break from heavy French food, as good as it is. Vietnamese is perfect for this, and we found a great, reasonably priced place in the otherwise expensive 5th arr. (Also, it is in an area where there aren’t many reviewed restaurants, for some reason. This seems to be a husband-wife operation; she was cooking in the back. I ordered the pho. It was good solid broth, maybe not as many herbs and greens as you would get in the U.S., and not at all spicy, but still very good. It satisfied my pho craving and came in a huge bowl I couldn’t finish. My husband got the house special tamarind soup with fish. Wow, I’ve never had anything like it before but was it was delicious. The fish was fried so it didn’t fall apart in the soup. My husband liked the fish the best. The Vietnamese spring rolls were super fresh; they must have been made just then. We also had dumplings. All of the portions were large and we got all of this for about 38 euro, less than the cost of just one entree at most of the restaurants in the area. I’ve uploaded the entire menu so you can browse. I’d definitely come here again."

"I went here because I fancied some Nems and it was close to my hotel, and I'm so glad I did. The food was both simple and exquisitely flavoured at the same time. Service was faultless, not rushed or too slow.It's quite a small restaurant, only about 20 or so covers, but I would not hesitate to recommend it both to newcomers to Vietnamese food and those who eat it regularly."

"1. It took 1 hour to serve us the food. We noticed there was only one waiter/bar tender for drinks and service, and we assume they only had one person cooking. 2. The plates were tasty, but a bit strange that one of them came in a pineappke, but the pineapple was completely full (so no whole inside to fit in the food). So the good was literally on top of half pineapple, which was very hard to cut! Interesting is that the dish description said it contained dés d 'ananas . 3. The place is nice, but not cozy.. it looks a bit lack of love . Overall, we thought the place is overpriced for the whole experience. Tasty, yes, but not worth the wait."
