"We were thinking that there would be a view of the water from the restaurant, however, the only view of the water that we saw was from the parking lot. The restaurant itself is basically a bar inside a well-kept old building so the ambiance isn't as romantic as I had hoped. Everything else was absolutely perfect! Our waitress, Venessa, was very professional and attentive. My steak was perfectly cooked and quite a bargain at $22 $20 $2 for sauteed mushrooms added on top). My wife enjoyed her chicken entree as well. Out Manhattans were very good and also the Bordeaux wine was nice. We will be back."

"There is not one menu item that I’ve ordered that I haven’t loved and craved for days after. The food is so good! Fresh and flavorful and perfect portions. I order from here weekly for lunch. I’ve had their Reuben, Cuban, Turkey sandwiches, Brie sandwich, pasta salad, Hummus Wrap, all the salads, and more. Oh and every salad dressing is delish! City Bistro is one of my favorite restaurants in St Pete. So, so good!"

"Always great service. Really fast, even if they're busy. Very good for correct orders regardless of the amount of substitutions. There is bread is really good and unique compared to other sub sites. I can only say they're a little expensive. A 15in club with only Mayo and cheese and half a roast beef with only cheese and extra meat and a large frit should not cost $25! Overall, it is a great place to get great subs, but be prepared for a hefty bill, especially if your order dinner for the family!"
