"A combination of a quiet day and messed up trains meant I could re visit a pub that I haven’t been in for nearly 10 years. It was just as I remembered it friendly and welcoming, with a real historic vibe. A pint of well kept and excellently served Joule’s Pale Ale, and as it was lunchtime I ordered a roast pork sandwich. This quickly arrived, loaded with pork, stuffing and apple sauce on two huge slices of granary bread, with some chips, salad, coleslaw and gravy on the side. £13.75 for a delicious sandwich, with a perfect pint in a fantastic pub. Less than ten minutes walk from the train station. Definitely recommended"

"Had house special chow mein and king prawn balls delivered tonight first time in a while .won't be having again .chow mein dry and tastesless ,the duck in it was dry and hard and the king prawn balls were soggy not crispy .spent over £21 and very disappointed as we have had many times and was always loveley but really awful meal .I rang to let them know that the meal was not good and was told what do you want me to do about it .no sorry !!! I won't be ordering again customer service terrible arguing with me that there was sauce in the chow mein .I think the pictures show no sauce"
