"They were very courteous with a last reservation for a big party on a Saturday night. eating was interesting and worth a pretty good one. they should check themselves with a large group that wants to have small portions of different things."

"The duck was incredibly over cooked to the point where I couldn’t eat it and the seasoning on the fatty yet crispy skin was off putting. Seemed like they cooked the duck on top hot of a pan. the octopus came with mushed avocado.... which I have never had before but it was strange. Overall the octopus was cooked well but was a small portion. The pull apart bread was completely saturated with oil and butter to the point that it leaked oil and was spongy. Lastly the creme brûlée had a weird taste and the sugar on top was not torched enough. The ambience was loud pop music and the restaurant was COMPLETELY empty at 7pm on a Thursday. it seemed like a fake fancy restaurant. The wine was very expensive yet very gross. Would not recommend."

"Ordered two pies from here, since they were open later than other places we would have ordered from in the neighborhood. Pizza had a good flavor, just didn’t arrive super fresh. The salad we got was pretty good as a side."

"I don't understand why this restaurant is always empty. the food is delicious and the service is welcoming. they could decorate something and the credit card fee on the bill is a bit perplexing. we were back three times because the food and the service are so good. when we asked them to turn off the music, they immediately fulfilled."

"Must say that we really felt like Bay Ridge regulars from the moment we arrived and were greeted enthusiastically to as we left when the Executive Chef, Anthony Rinaldi, invited us to join the party at the bar for some champagne and cheer. They’ve just moved to new digs and they have created a very hospitable place – kind of like “Boston Cheers” meets “Bay Ridge Pearl Room.” The food and drink were good – delicious blue point oysters, well-prepared martinis, a classic wedge salad followed by Penne a la Vodka with Chicken and Ginger lime shrimp. A stop at the Pearl Room is a little bit of Manhattan with a clearly Brooklyn vibe."
