"This restaurant is nestled in a quiet, historic neighborhood near Forsyth Park. The food is locally sourced, therefore, the menu changes frequently. The bolognese and duck confit was my favorite, though much praise for the grilled to perfection ribeye. The fish and chips was an interestingly delicious combination of crunchiness of the potato and the tender bed of fish blanketing the potato. I’m glad I tried that too. This is the perfect spot for a date night, celebratory dinner or simply to enjoy deliciously prepared, clean food. I would have given this a 5-star rating had we not experienced a server who seemed less than interested in the menu or being engaging with us. For the price, I expect a more engaged and enthusiastic server. With that said, that will not deter us from visiting this unique place the next time we’re in Savannah."

"Horrible experience from beginning to end. Even if our issues had been completely unfounded, no effort or leeway whatsoever was made on the part of the manager who was herself rude and made no gesture of understanding or basic kindness. We arrived and waited at the bar for the rest of our party to arrive to be seated. Not once in the hour we were waiting did the bartender approach and ask if we would like to order, as we watched several others come up and be provided menus and offered drinks. The reservation was made for a birthday celebration, but we were told because of the way it was made we would not be permitted to sit together however, there was no other option available. No matter how we asked for anything, everything was shot down, with no compromise even considered. At the end of our visit, when we were provided bills, we were charged gratuity, as if we were one party. Then, we were given one server, but we’re told when seated because we could not sit together, we would have two servers. The service was horrible and slow. We had been seated for 30 minutes before our drink orders were taken, then waited another 30 minutes before we checked on our drink orders to wait 15 more minutes before actually receiving them. No refills were provided and it was very difficult to get the servers attention because once she heard one request, she darted off before hearing the person finish."
