"I liked the food. Food was good. But it was not value for money food. I have order one panner and veg sabji. The taste was good but not so yummy. But butter tandoori roti was not cooked properly and also not served hot. I think they have allready prepared the rotis and than serving. Also the prices are bit higher side and compare that taste, ambiance and food was not that much great."

"Heavy loaded dosa. a lot of cheese on the dosa. quite generous iwth the cheese there. but did not enjoy it ! sambar was really bad. chutney was okish.. noodles were a bt weird though can't point what exactly it was.. it was well packed. and took quite some effort with the scisoors to get it out of the packaging."

"Kalyan Cafe was considered to be an adda for most of the Barodians since past decade which has now remaining an empty house with hosts waiting for guests. Well, I guess food hasn't been changed except they have regularly upgraded and included more variety of items in their menu. One thing will always be remained in a corner of my mind - it's ambience. It's not great to look out for, but being an old cafe in Vadodara, it has maintained its ambience, table arrangements as it is since years. I always like most of its food - especially its sizzlers. Kalyan Cafe has been serving sizzlers since when no other food joints were opened to serve continental food. <br>
After a long time, on my last visit I remembered my old days while I used to come here and the items I used to order. This time, I was craving for something new to try and looked upon the list named "new arrivals". I gestured in and decided to order Tex Mex Burger. It took almost 10-15...

"A family gathering of around 15 people and an obvious and annoying question, where to go for dinner so that everyone gets some or other thing of their liking?<br>

Long discussion and Indian Curry @ Hotel Tansha Comfort Regency came out as a choice. It was Sunday evening and we called to book a table only to discover that they don't take bookings. Reaching early helped secure one as the restaurant got fully occupied by 8 PM.<br>

Our order consisted Hot and Sour and Almond Broccoli soups, Bruscheattas, Jalapeno Cheese Nuggets, French Fries, Roasted Papad and Palak Makai Lahori Seekh Kabab to start with. In the main course, we stuck to north Indian and tried Paneer Do Pyaza and Veg Deewani Handi.<br>

Almost everything in food was up to the mark and didn't disappoint us.<br>

With average service, decent interiors and good food, this surely secures a backup option berth.
