"We had 6 people in our party to celebrate my son's 35th birthday. We made reservations and our table was ready right on time. We arrived a bit earlier than the rest of our party, so we enjoyed a beverage at the bar. Good beverage selection with knowledgeable and friendly bartenders. Once the rest of our party arrived, we were immediately seated at our table. Chris, our server, was very attentive without hovering. He provided excellent suggestions and answered our questions honestly and with confidence. The bread service is notable. Canoe employs their own baker and all bread is made in-house. We shared three appetizers including the smoked salmon with goat cheese (don't order if you don't like goat cheese , crab cake (one cake about 2 inches in diameter , and kangaroo (not my favorite but others liked it . Our entrees included filet (delicious and perfectly prepared! , cod, pork chop, duck, and rabbit. Everyone was very happy with their food and sides. Desserts included the signature popcorn/caramel sundae, chocolate cake (which my daughter in law said was delicious , two carrot cakes, and the blood orange dessert special. I can't think of a negative comment to make about any of the food or the service. We were not rushed at all. Our food was all well-timed and cooked to perfection, and Chris provided impeccable service. This is definitely one of our favorites to come back to on our next occasion!"

"Ordered an array of food earlier today, 2-25-23. Great service! Decent food! Undercooked bacon. Just okay pancakes…won’t repeat that particular item. We’ve visited on many occasions and they’re consistent for the most part. For the individual that attempted to book a birthday brunch celebration, try calling back and speak with mgmt regarding your large party. I planned a surprise party at Murphy’s a few years ago and we had the room in the back. *Note: Limited menu with deposit. Avoid the cake it was horrible, and no they will not allow you to bring your own!! We had an amazing time. *Just my two cents."

"Let me start saying everything about the facility was great. Quick seating (with our reservation), the waitress was fantastic. She gave great drinks recommendations and led us to our choices for the menu. The Braised Pork Belly was a melt in your mouth cube delicious. Well cooked, well seasoned. Everything about it was amazing."
