"My husband and I were just in town for the weekend and went to Piedmont for a nice Saturday dinner out. While I would certainly consider going back because the food was outstanding, the kitchen and service were a mess. Maybe they were short staffed or someone didn't plan to be busy at 7pm on a Saturday night? Our server (who only had 4 or 5 tables), the hostess and other runners brought food and drinks to the wrong tables. The table next to us got their main course before their salad and I overheard the server say to another table that something would be comped. Everyone was really nice and our server apologized for the delays, but it was clear something was amiss in the kitchen."

"This ice cream place is not your typical ice cream parlor. They serve artisan flavors which I love. I tried their Vietnamese coffee, Sweet Corn with Blueberry, Honey Ricotta, and root beer. I?d suggest to skip the root beer as there?s really nothingspecial about it. My favorite out of all three is the Sweet Corn with Blueberry, very distinct flavor, the blueberries are notoverpowering. Vietnamese coffee is a little strong for me, caffeine and sugar wise. Honey ricotta is like your typical vanillawith rich cream and honey. Love it, too, actually. The store inside is cozy. Definitely must try when in Durham!"
