"Good restaurant, good food, but poor service was the downfall.Lots of mistakes in the order had to send back a variety of times. Some stuff was missing and also didn 't make sense. I order the classic burger (no onions, lettuce or tomatoes) so instead they put the onions on the side? And the mayo in a cup.Waitress was friendly but almost in a way socially awkward. They didn 't speak much, and didn 't give you the service you 'd expect from a waitress.Overall I 've been to Swiss Chalet many times and this won 't be my last. Could have just been an off day.Parking: Handicap spots are right out front of the entrance which is very useful."

"If you are an American and expecting the normal fare from an A&W in the US you'll be disappointed. They have the root beer, burgers and chicken, but I didn't see any coney dogs on their menu and no cheese curds. They had sweet potato fries but there were not good, so I don't recommend those."

"Visited for the first time after seeing some tasty looking pictures of the poutine with actual cheese curds but was pretty disappointed when we didn’t get cheese curds. The burgers (double patty) were great for the price, but why doesn’t your poutine have cheese curds????"

"Beer Town is always fun and lively. The service is good, but not always quick as they are typically very busy. The food is great, especially for the price. Portions are quite big."

"We went to this Swiss Chalet outlet for dinner and found that it has turned into a lower class hall-style restaurant - the ambience was "0" and the service -1 and was extremely cold - we even kept our jackets on. They didn't have enough staff, our orders were incorrect and the food cold. Even though we told the server that we were in a hurry, we didn't get our food until we were ready to leave. The server gave a half-hearted sorry. Not good. Won't go back to this one any time soon. We go to the Edinburgh Rd North outlet as we always get good service and servers and the food is actually hot!"
