"My sister and I came in here one week ago on Thursday for lunch! I m aware about the pressure and the difficult that waiters and chefs and all the kitchen staff live during the shift. There are times, expectations and different requests and standards to satisfy. That's why I m always nice and polite with who is going to serve my meal. Is a plus that my sister is a chef too, working in Germany since 7 years now.We politely ordered a typical German sausage/wurst.. asking if was possible to swap the potatoes with some fries. Thanks to my sister and her fluent German we've been able to "deal" with our waiter Mr. Mrkaic who shout in our face and capturing the attention of all the people around, saying that he couldn't be bothered with this. This was the menù Apparently The kitchen was on the floor 254738.. he couldn't be able to get in there, do the stairs and ask for it. If we don't want something we leave it and we order something else separately. He had no time to waste. Now.. We ve just made a question. No mentioning how blessed we are in 2017 with all this technology.. we both agree that "No, sorry" was enough.The fact that Mrkaic could be my father , doesn't allow him to shout in my face being totally unrespectful in front of so many people.The fact that there wasn't any manager around caring about the situation, and that this restaurant has a really good position, really close to the Cologne Cathedral and for sure has no prob to be reached by a lot of tourist.. neither! We were about to leave suddenly. Not even waiting for the food. Time that I ve tried to catch someone and ask the bills, one of our plates came out. We're really different from Mr. Mrkaic. So because the food was already out the kitchen and we respect the work of other people, we had our lunch. Feeling uncomfortable and leaving the place as soon as possible. NEVER AGAIN ."

"Another typical German brauhaus, where we stopped for dinner. We got schnitzel in pepper sauce and currywurst, both were good, and Kolsch was flowing. Service was okay, considering how busy the place was in peak time. We enjoyed our food and drinks and had a...very good time."

"We had originally reserved a table for over 30 people in the beer house at d’r Salzgass. Once there we were told that our place was occupied by a group of pensioners who had not reserved and who did not want to clear the place. So we were taken to the beer house on the Rhine. There we were frozen into a room in the last corner without music. If that weren't enough, we ordered Schnitzel what I wouldn't recommend. 17€ for a small carving with cold frits. All in all, an underground action. Never again!"

"At the beginning of august we were in porta and wanted to buy a bedroom for our son. we have said that we are out of the flood area and want to make our children a little joy before he goes to school. that was the only thing we could do for our son, so that he sleeps again in his own room (he had feared since the night the cursed great.) the seller told us that we should expect a delivery time of 6 weeks. we accepted that. after about 9 weeks, however, we have received a faulty delivery. After we have telephoned several times and asked for a post-filling 2 times in writing, we finally got a delivery last week, but it was again a wrong spare part. So we're already over 4 months and our son has no cabinet yet. as a Christmas gift he wanted a bedroom! even if we wanted to do it for him in august! we regret that we have ordered in porta. we are very sorry that our son has dreamed of his own bedroom for a few months. we have already paid the purchase price completely on the first day and can no longer afford a new room. we are waiting for the manager's call. who knows when he calls us back!"
