"That is my goal for roti prata and it is cheap and authentic. it is a good quality and not touristy at all. the eier and thorny roti is my favorite along with the ginger tea.<br br/>Definitly is worth when it is in the neighboring."

"It was our first visit today. Everything was perfect from start to end. The lady who was there was amazing (sorry I didn’t get your name . We ordered kurkure bhindi (crispy ladies finger which absolutely crunchy and amazing , tandoori chicken (which tasted really great but just a little dry , Paneer hariyali tikka (our first time trying this dish and it was surprisingly good , jhinga biryani (prawn biryani was delicious, prawns were big, succulent and fresh! , chicken lollipops which were really nice too and we loved it! We also tried butter garlic naan which we enjoyed very much. The drinks were really affordable too. Definitely looking forward to patronising again."

"Came across this place by accident but was pleasantly surprised by the food quality. Hope it stays that way. The susu halia was almost as good as the railway station one. The prata was fresh and crispy. Came her for a snack so didn’t really try the rest."

"We ordered set meal, it was quite a lot of quantity for 14.90. papdi chaat and dessert were good. But the channa masala, butter chicken that came with the set meal were quite bland. The masala was missing that spicy indian taste. Naan and tomato soup were good. Staff were polite and respectful. Overall, good restaurant with reasonable price for those who don't expect spicy food."

"Came here for a casual, early dinner on our 4th anniversary as my wife and in laws were raving about this hidden gem nestled in River Valley. We ordered the chicken briyani, mee goreng mamak and satay. First the briyani oh boy, it was reminiscent of the typical Muslim wedding ones, fragrant and unpretentious (huge chicken rice portions! . Second, the mee goreng/kway teow goreng was messy but fried to perfection. Perfect amount of spice and high on that wok hey factor they didn't skimp on the vegetables and egg either. Saving the best for last is their satay, we ordered 10 initially (5 mutton, 5 chicken skewers they were well marinated and melt in your mouth tender. They were so good, we ordered an additional 10 pieces. The peanut gravy was pretty ordinary as with the accompanying complimentary cucumber/onion slices. The pandan teh deserves an honorable mention. I requested a less sweet version and they obliged, the teh was fragrant with caramel undertones due to the pandan leaves. All in all, I was pretty impressed with their renditions of the usual mamak stall fare. Prices are slightly on the higher side but still reasonably affordable probably due to the location and rent. They're not too crowded during the day time till early evenings but do expect to queue up 8pm onwards, as this seems to be a supper haunt for the people living in the vicinity. Halal certified establishment"

"We booked a Cabana Room to celebrate my daughter's birthday and we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. The beds were comfortable and there were sufficient pillows unlike other hotels where they stinge on giving their guests extra pillows. The room had a resort feel to it and faced the swimming pool. My daughter had a nice time swimming in the pool. Food at White Rose Cafe was yummy. Don't miss the fish head curry. We will definitely be back again for staycation."
